🐋 Whale Watching Season Returns to Hervey Bay
JULY – OCTOBEREvery winter, thousands of humpback whales migrate to the calm protected waters of Hervey Bay — creating one of Australia’s most unforgettable wildlife experiences.
From July through October, visitors can enjoy close encounters with playful juveniles, curious whales and mothers travelling with newborn calves. Peak whale watching season typically falls across August and September.
