Vila Paus has two dedicated Level 2 EV chargers — one per villa — so there's never a wait and never a single point of failure.

How do I access the charger?
Just let us know you're bringing an EV before arrival — we'll make sure everything is ready for you. The charger is available 24/7 throughout your stay, so you can plug in any time, including late arrivals after dark.
How long will it take to charge my vehicle?
- A typical EV with a ~60kWh battery charges from 20% to 100% in 6–8 hours
- Ideal for overnight charging — plug in before bed, full battery in the morning
- Also works well for day-trip charging if you're out for most of the day
Charging speed depends on your vehicle's onboard charger — our charger supplies up to 7kW, but your car draws what it's designed to accept.
Is the charger compatible with my EV?
Our charger uses a Type 2 (Mennekes) connector — the standard AC charging plug in Australia. It's compatible with the vast majority of modern electric vehicles sold locally.
